Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: From £50,000 per year basic + Quarterly Bonus
About the Role:
Our client, a leading electronic engineering business based in North Yorkshire, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the EV Charger and DC power supply sectors. As part of their forward-thinking engineering team, you'll identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and contribute strategically to overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategies to expand EV charger and related grid infrastructure sales.
2. Manage tenders, bids, and customer accounts.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
4. Provide market feedback to support product development.
5. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
6. Utilise existing clients to gain more business, as well as target new clients.
You will need:
1. Minimum 5 years' experience in business development or a similar role.
2. Strong strategic, financial modelling, and sales proposal writing skills.
3. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
4. Ability to articulate technical product details effectively.
5. The ability to build rapport with clients and work with other team members.
6. Full driving licence.
7. Be within commutable distance to Harrogate.
