Are you passionate about empowering young people to overcome challenges and achieve independence? If so, join the team at Harrogate Young People's Pathway as a Housing Support Worker and help young individuals to build brighter futures.
As a Housing Support Worker, your responsibilities will involve building rapport and relationships with our clients to provide personalised assistance to address their individual needs, promote independence, and facilitate their successful transition into independent living.
If you have:
1. A strong commitment to supporting young people facing homelessness.
2. Empathy and the ability to build trust and rapport with vulnerable individuals.
3. An understanding of the challenges and issues faced by young people experiencing homelessness.
4. Access to a car for work purposes and hold a full current UK driving licence.
5. Experience of providing advice and support on a one-to-one basis and managing a caseload.
6. Knowledge of tenancy and property management including arrears control and courts procedure.
