Occupational Therapist
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with exceptional clinical skills and experience of working within a schools setting.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a band 5 or band 6 OT on a part-time basis, requiring a skilled professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as an occupational therapist in a schools setting, utilizing expertise to support students with special educational needs.
* Manage a complex caseload, providing high-quality therapy services to meet the needs of students.
* Develop and implement effective treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
* Conduct assessments, provide consultations, and write clear, concise reports to inform decision-making.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
* Sensory Integration trained to minimum Practitioner level (PGCert) or willingness to complete this training.
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working in SEN education or with a similar caseload.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team.
* Fully valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
