The Role
The Maintenance Lead is key to the production team, leading maintenance engineering efforts within their area, coaching the team towards autonomous maintenance, reviewing losses, developing action plans, and supporting improvement initiatives and capital projects. The role requires coaching, motivation, and significant experience in maintenance leadership.
Key activities include:
* Planning and scheduling daily maintenance for lines
* Reviewing breakdowns and implementing countermeasures
* Overseeing maintenance planning and updates during daily meetings
* Leading weekly maintenance scheduling
* Supporting the Progressive Maintenance and Autonomous Maintenance pillars
* Developing coaching plans to enhance team capability

Applicants should demonstrate relevant skills with clear evidence, including:
* Minimum Level 3 electrical qualification with hands-on experience (Essential)
* HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering (preferably electrical) – (Highly desirable)
* Experience with TPM/RCM maintenance environments – (Highly desirable)
* Strong engineering and problem-solving skills (Essential)
* Experience with Lean tools and techniques – (Highly desirable)
* Coaching experience – (Highly desirable)
