Job Description
This software engineer position involves designing, developing, and implementing software primarily in C and Python. You will also integrate developed software with other system components, document design specifications, and contribute to technical solutions within teams.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Design, development, and implementation of software primarily in C and Python
* Integration of developed software with other system components including firmware and hardware
* Documentation of design specifications and implementation decisions
* Contribution to technical solutions within teams
* STEM outreach activities
In addition, you will have opportunities to work within Research and Development, investigating cutting-edge technologies to help Amiosec stay ahead of the curve.
You will be an integral part of small, multi-disciplined teams involved in the design, development, and evaluation of secure communication products and technologies.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of a 2:1 degree in a relevant subject such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Cyber. You should also have familiarity with software development principles and experience coding in at least one area, including embedded programming languages/OS, scripting languages, UI / UX, and accessibility.

Please note that the estimated salary for this position is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
