To help create maintain and manage a safe working environment for both staff and children at St. Brigid’s Catholic Primary School, a thriving and vibrant two-form entry primary school in Northfield. You will be responsible for managing the overall provision for Health and safety, security, janitorial and cleaning services at the school as well as management of repairs and maintenance to ensure the school facilities are clean, safe, and well maintained. The post would also evolve the keeping of accurate and up to date documentation concerning the school’s premises, in an organised and methodical manner. This is a full-time role on a permanent basis to start as soon as possible. To be successful in your application, you will have previous experience as a site supervisor with knowledge of health and safety regulations including COSHH and risk assessments. You will need to be reliable, flexible, and punctual with a positive can-do attitude. Inspect and maintain certain school equipment, effect minor repairs and report defects replenish consumables items i.e. soap, towels, toilet paper etc as required throughout the school supervise, direct and train cleaners replace light source.
