The role in a nutshell
As a Social Media and Content Executive at our company, you'll be a really creative person that can transform ideas into amazing concepts and content. We’re looking for someone with good photography, videography and editing skills and able to create and post outstanding content from concept to publish. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence and engaging with our audience across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
Where you’ll work
We have a small office in the heart of picturesque Stamford, where you will work the majority of time, however the role will sometimes require some flexibility and therefore we are also happy for you to work from home as and when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Creation & Planning
* Develop and execute engaging, on-brand social media content (posts, stories, reels, videos) across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Linkedin, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
* Collaborate with the founder, marketing team, and content creators to plan monthly content calendars that align with launches, campaigns, and brand goals.
* Assist in producing and editing creative assets, including short-form video.
* Community Management
* Foster meaningful relationships with our online community by actively participating in conversations, addressing feedback, and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
* Actively engage with our community through comments, DMs, and user-generated content.
* Build and nurture relationships with influencers, MUAs, and loyal customers to foster brand advocacy.
* Monitor social media trends, competitors, and platform algorithm changes to inform strategy.
* Identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, and follower growth.
* Paid Ads Management
* Manage paid ad campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, including producing creative, campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis.
* Lead on the execution and management analysis of paid social campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
* Reporting & Insights
* Track performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports on KPIs, offering insights and actionable recommendations for optimization.
* Brand Advocacy:
Serve as a brand ambassador for our brand, embodying our values and maintaining a strong, positive presence across social media platforms.
Monitor and manage online reputation by addressing any issues or concerns raised by customers in a timely and professional manner.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar social media role, preferably in beauty, lifestyle, or fashion.
* A genuine love for makeup and skincare, with an understanding of current beauty trends and online culture.
* Strong visual and storytelling skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand voice.
* Experience with video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva) and scheduling platforms (e.g. Loomly, Hootsuite).
* Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within the beauty or fashion industry.
* Analytical skills to track and analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Proactive, creative thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment.
* Knowledge of influencer marketing and UGC best practices.
