We are currently looking for a Senior Proposals Engineer to join our team in Mountsorrel, Loughborough.

Role Responsibility
In the role of Senior Proposals Engineer you will be responsible for:
1. Contributing to the target performance of the Contracting Business through the production of Client-facing documents such as Quality Submissions, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Capability Statements and Case studies either individually or as the leader of a small team
2. Supporting the CSD department with the development of technical bidding elements
3. Liaising with regional operational offices to fully understand Client expectations and develop documentation that meets them
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Proposals Engineer will have experience of:
4. Experience of working in a bid writing role or similar
5. Operational experience or training (HNC etc) within the civil engineering / highways industry
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships through collaboration
7. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
8. Ability to read construction drawings/programmes and translate into supporting prose
9. Use of industry software including Microsoft Office and Project, Adobe, CAD
