Work and Health Coach
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Peterborough, with hybrid working arrangements available

How will I be supporting the work of the Trust?
The Work and Health coaches in the WorkWell programme provide face to face support and guidance to customers with disabilities or health barriers.
The role of a Work and Health Coach is rewarding because you will have the opportunity to inspire and develop others in achieving their potential.
What does this involve?
• Developing personalised plans with clear steps that enable customers to enter, sustain, or return to employment.
• Supporting customers to enhance, develop and explore new skills and abilities in the workplace and this may be through training, volunteering, and developing job searching skills.
Who are we looking for?
• You will need to be friendly and encouraging and have a good understanding of coaching and/or motivational interviewing methodology, welfare benefits and national and local services and support.
• You will be able to connect with customers empathetically in order to understand their unique challenges and needs and apply a proactive approach to identifying solutions and overcoming barriers to employment.
• Ideally, you will have previous experience of supporting customers with additional needs and building relationships with stakeholders
• A qualification or experience in customer service, community engagement, health, social care will be an advantage.
