We are recruiting for a Valet Supervisor to join our team in Leeds.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join both a successful brand and family-run business. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a desire to experience and learn more about the SKODA brand.
About the Business
Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our very humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 50 car dealers in the country. Across our 21 businesses, we have a stable workforce of over 600 people, many of whom have been with us for years. We are always on the lookout for nice, genuine people who genuinely care about our customers and have a can-do attitude.
Our recruitment philosophy is that we recruit for attitude and train for skills, which means that although we’re often looking for specific technical skills, if you like working with customers and you are attracted by our Family Values of Fit, Fun, Family, and Fearless, you’ll fit in well here and we’d like to hear from you even if you have no experience in the automotive industry.
We offer manufacturer training for product knowledge to give you the technical skills you need, and we work with our own world-class sales trainer who will give you everything you need to be a “top one percenter.”
We’ll expect you to work hard but in return we’ll offer you an industry-leading package, flexible working hours, and a real opportunity to progress: we prefer to promote from within and you will see this in every one of our sites. You must possess an outrageous ambition to want to be the best and you won’t let anyone stop you.
What We Offer
* World-class training provided from our own trainer and our brand partner.
* Preferential rates for servicing and repairs on your family and friend’s cars.
* A workplace pension scheme.
* Entitlement to join the Employee car scheme – after a qualifying period.
About You
As a Valet Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of the everyday smooth running of our busy branch. From supporting the branch manager to making sure that deliveries and collections are made successfully to organizing the staff rota and ordering materials, you’ll help us run the show. Being part of the team means that you will also have valeting and driving responsibilities too.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, thrive within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and have the flexibility to work additional hours at busy times.
Duties
* Organizing daily deliveries and collections as efficiently as possible.
* Promoting great customer service throughout the branch.
* Carrying out regular stock control of valeting materials and ordering new stock as needed.
* Ensuring valet bays are kept tidy.
* Involvement in the organization of the staff rotas to ensure shifts are covered.
* High levels of organization and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team.
* The ability to motivate staff to reach targets.
* Understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
* To maintain a presentable appearance and hygiene, ensuring that work wear is regularly cleaned.
* You must hold a full clean driving licence.
You will be expected to work every other Saturday.
We are an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, religion, disability, or other characteristics.
