Location: Chelmsford/ Leigh-on-sea
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (based on experience).

A reputable law firm is looking for an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join their close-knit, caring team. Key Responsibilities:
* Managing residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.
* Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence for clients, estate agents, and other parties involved.
* Conducting property searches and liaising with relevant parties, including mortgage lenders, local authorities, and other solicitors.
* Providing expert advice to clients, particularly in relation to mortgage processes and property transactions.
* Assisting with property sales and purchases, drafting contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
* Maintaining up-to-date case files and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Organising meetings and communicating effectively with clients and all relevant parties.
* Providing timely updates to clients on the progress of their transactions.
* Meeting deadlines and managing workloads effectively.
Key Requirements:
* Significant experience in residential conveyancing (ideally 1+ years).
* A background in mortgage advising or a strong understanding of the mortgage process.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the team's success.
