Description:
A care worker / Personal assistant is required by the employer, a 74 year old woman, to assist with her personal and social care requirements. We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, flexible and trustworthy, with a true passion for providing care. The role is to provide Personal Care / Social Support and to add a comforting and caring environment to her life.
This job has a genuine occupational requirement as per schedule 9 part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, therefore only applications from females are requested.
Tasks will include:
• Assisting with Personal care;
o Showering
o Assistance with Dressing / and maintaining a clean and tidy appearance
o Meal preparation to maintain a healthy diet.
o Help to provide a friendly caring and social environment
o Assisting / supervising medication [from blister pack within lock box]
• Assisting the person to maintain cleanliness within the home
• Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of carer / personal assistant.
• Experience is preferred but not essential, looking for a caring individual
Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.
This Job is advertised on behalf of an individual person, and they will be the employer.
Looking for someone to cover multiple visits a day as detailed below;
Morning - 9.30 to 11.30am
Afternoon – 2.30 to 3.00 pm [approx.]
Tea - 6.00 to 7.00 pm
Tuck - 9.00 to 9.15 pm
