Involve Recruitment are in search of a Quantity Surveyor to join our clients growing team on a residential housing scheme based in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong residential background to work on a variety of projects, ensuring cost control and project delivery to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Managing and reporting on the financial aspects of the residential housing scheme. Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects. Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure the project stays within budget. Overseeing procurement, including subcontractor selection and negotiation. Preparing and reviewing contract documents and ensuring compliance with regulations. Attending meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Providing advice on cost control and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on residential construction. Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost estimation, and project financial management. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent qualification). Full driving license, as the role will involve regular site visits.
