An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, flexible and dynamic Registered nurse to join the Dermatology Team. You will work as a Clinical Specialist Nurse alongside the Dermatology Consultants and the Dermatology Nursing Team.
We are looking for an individual who possess initiative, sound decision making and act effectively and skillfully. You will have the potential to develop enhanced skills successfully within the area of Dermatological Surgery and Wound Management.
The postholder will be required to attain competency in skin surgery/and wound care management following and training programme.
The post will be supported with leadership and clinical supervision from the Clinical Lead Nurse in Dermatology and will provide an opportunity for professional development.
This post will include working within the dermatology outpatient setting and to act with knowledge and expertise within the scope of patient treatment, education and support.
To help co-ordinate and organise an expert service that positively impacts on the experience of patients with Dermatological conditions
To develop skills and expertise in Dermatology nursing and support the Dermatology Consultant in delivering effective, efficient and safe patient care.
