This is a fast paced environment where you will be overseeing a massive change management piece.
About the Role:
Reporting to the European CFO who is based in Italy, the Finance Director will lead the financial strategy and operations of the business, ensuring that the company remains on a strong financial footing while supporting its ambitious growth plans. You will work closely with senior management to provide strategic insights and direction, optimize profitability, and create a finance function that underpins the companys expansion in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the companys growth ambitions in the UK
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration across departments.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and tax requirements.
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership, driving initiatives to improve profitability and operational performance.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Strong financial acumen with expertise in strategic planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Experience in luxury goods, retail, or high end Hospitality is highly desirable.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Commercially astute, with a strong desire to make a tangible impact on the business.
A passion for craftsmanship, quality, and the luxury sector.
Flexibility to travel to Italy as required.
