Due to department expansion, we have two full-time positions for a Clinical Support Worker working with the Hospital24 team supporting in and out of hours with venepuncture, cannulation, and ECG recordings.

Main Duties of the Job
We are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Support Workers (CSW). You will have excellent organization and communication skills. You will be working within the Hospital24 team supporting with Cannulation, Phlebotomy, and ECG recording. In addition, you will be supporting the medical and nursing teams in responding to acutely unwell patients. In H24, the CSW team works a variety of shifts that include 07:00-19:30, 19:00-07:30, and 11:00-19:00.

H24 is a developing service, previously known as Hospital@Night, providing nursing, medical, and surgical support to our patients in and out of hours. We are a friendly and supportive team and share the trust's core values.
Job Responsibilities
The post holder works as part of the Hospital24 Team providing Clinical Support to Medical and Nursing staff 27/7.
The Support Worker will be responsible for providing venepuncture, cannulation, and ECG recording across both campuses. The post holder will be required to prioritize and manage their own workload within a dynamic busy environment.
The Department has operational responsibility for Hospital24 across the organization. As such, the post holder will be required to rotate between both main campuses that make up Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Person Specification
Training and Skills
Essential
* Must be fully trained and practicing with proven experience in cannulation, phlebotomy, venepuncture, and ECG recording.
Qualifications
Essential
* Good Level of Secondary Education. An ability to pass literacy and numeracy testing.
Desirable
* NVQ level 2/3 in a healthcare setting.
Experience
Essential
* NHS experience, preferably in a healthcare assistant role or equivalent.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workloads.
