We are looking for a senior pharmacy support worker to join the pharmacy team in Oncology and Haematology. Based in the Oncology/Haematology Satellite Dispensary, the role will focus on co-ordinating the accurate, timely and safe ordering, receipt, storage, dispensing, distribution and stock management of medicines within the dispensary and to provide a ward stock management service to wards and departments., Hours of work are 37 hours per week over 7 days The post holder will be required to contribute to the weekend and public holiday rotas as per service requirements. * Previous hospital/pharmacy experience essential
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Flexible and able to adjust to the needs of the service on a daily basis

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
You must have completed appropriate units of the S/NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or recognised equivalent qualification. You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
