Job Role: Clinical Specialist, Sales Representative, Account Manager, Key Account Manager
This is a great opportunity to work with an established pharmaceutical company as a Clinical Specialist.
As Clinical Specialist, you will have the responsibility to plan and carry out the promotion of a portfolio of pharmaceutical products to a range of Health Care Professionals. The focus of the role will be on Diabetes and Dermatology in primary care, however you will also be responsible for hospitals and the local influencer network. In addition, you will represent and epitomise the core values of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Actively market and sell products to Health Care Professionals within the NHS while complying with the ABPI Code of Practice and Company Standards.
* Identify and liaise with KOLs and advocates to develop or maintain local guidelines for relevant products.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional Key Opinion Leaders.
* Develop, maintain and demonstrate high standards of product and disease area knowledge.
* Review weekly and monthly activity plans by keeping your business account plans up to date with regular 1-1 meetings with your line manager.
* Be flexible as you may at times be required to work evenings, weekends and spend periods away from home to attend company meetings.
Salary: Competitive salary dependent on experience, with an estimated annual salary of £60,000 - £80,000 based on industry standards and location.
Qualifications:
University degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing
ABPI qualification
Full UK driving licence
Person Experience Required:
Experienced pharmaceutical sales representative in Primary and Secondary care.
Diabetes experience with a network of HCP contacts and prescribing decision makers and influencers throughout the assigned territory.
Proven track record of achievement and improved personal and business performance.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong account planning and organisation skills.
Confident, quick thinking, responsive, solution oriented with a good positive attitude,
Strong work ethic and high levels of energy resilience, integrity and honesty.
Computer literate.
Team player.
Experience of working with hospital patient protocol and service redesign projects.
Experience of organising, running, recruiting for peer to peer educational speaker meetings.
Hospital Formulary application experience and success.
Experience working with local healthcare key opinion leaders and advocates.
VIRTUAL DIGITAL CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
Location: North East and Cumbria, covering Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland and Northumberland.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
