We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
* Operate hand tools and power tools effectively to shape and cut materials.
* Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to execute fabrication projects accurately.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
Experience
* Proven experience in fabrication and welding, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
* Basic maths skills are essential for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work is required.
