HYSERVE Gateshead, England, United Kingdom
Hydraulic Technician/Engineer
Founded in 2020, Hyserve is a relatively young business that has gone from strength to strength in the years since its inception. We specialise in complex hydraulics – offering hydraulic systems, servicing, connections and components to our clients - and have built a reputation for our innovation, expertise and quality.
Due to high demand, we’re looking for experienced hydraulic technicians to join our team.
The Role
This is a full-time role, in which the selected candidate(s) will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of technicians both in our workshop, and on-site with our clients. This is a highly technical role, in which the chosen candidate will be involved in a large variety of work including commissioning, testing and installing the bespoke complex systems we design in-house, alongside completing a variety of fault-finding and service work for our customers.
Although based in Gateshead, we have a range of clients not only in the North East, but throughout the UK and internationally – offering exciting opportunities to travel abroad.
What we can offer
We are committed not only to our own goals, but to the success of our team, and as such we pride ourselves in supporting our staff in their career progression. As a relatively small business, we’re able to work closely with our staff, on an individual basis, and offer them opportunities to progress.
With this in mind, and as part of our commitment to continued learning, we’re keen to offer our team training and development opportunities. Within this particular role, we’re not only offering the chosen candidates the opportunity to learn complex hydraulics and to be involved in a range of challenging projects, but we’re also keen to train our team in a wide variety of associated skills - and we’ve recently partnered up with Bosch Rexroth to help us provide the training needed to help our team to progress.
We also believe that communication is key regarding personal performance, offering our employees clear objectives, regular appraisals, and 2-way communication. Equally, we believe in transparency regarding business performance, with regular company updates and opportunities for input – so that our staff can progress as the business does.
Who we’re looking for
Our goal is to create a team of the most passionate and experienced individuals in the industry. This is a highly technical role, and as such, we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years experience working in an engineering environment, with a strong mechanical background.
Hydraulic experience is essential for this role, although multi-skilled candidates with some mechanical and electrical experience would be preferred. Candidates must be able to read mechanical drawings and identify basic hydraulic symbols and preferably identify basic 3-phase electrical symbols. Ideally, candidates should also have significant experience in tube and pipe-bending.
