Farrow and Ball – Cost Management Accountant, Wimborne - Dorset We are currently looking for a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA to join our Finance team in Wimborne as a Cost Management Accountant, with specific focus on the Contribution Margin/Production costs and Inventory Management. We are offering this position on a full-time hybrid basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will seek to continuously improve and streamline processes while showing great attention to detail. Business partnering with the Global Operations team and being responsible for all their financial KPI objectives. This role will suit you if you love a challenge and have great attention to detail. Key Responsibilities of Cost Management Accountant: Partner with the Global Operations stakeholders to complete all analysis relating to the Contribution/Production Costs and Inventory in multiple global entities, while building strong relationships with the Operations team to provide financial support Complete month-end tasks relating to Contribution/Production and analysis for all entities within specific deadlines Lead the Contribution Meeting monthly, with the Operations teams discussing all costs and analysis thereof Responsible for producing and monitoring KPI/ Dashboards with the operations stakeholders in line with Group KPI objectives Lead the annual Inventory stock counts, inventory days analysis and understand the Inventory processes in the ERP system to ensure accurate Global reporting in line with Group Responsible for the forecasting for all Contribution/ Production costs and Inventory days Responsible for CAPEX business cases and tracking for the Operations team Proactively identify new ways of working to streamline reporting and need for manual interventions within the Contribution area Assist with statutory audits across the group Monitor, operate and document internal controls in accordance with Group requirements Your Key Attributes/Experience: Part qualified (actively studying towards)- ACCA/ACA/CIMA with minimum two years of work experience within a manufacturing environment and have an understanding of Inventory accounting treatments Ability to build strong business partnering relationships with non-financial stakeholders Demonstrable experience with all aspects of financial control, management accounts, forecasting, reporting within a multi entity and multi-currency group Competent in analysing and investigating data High level Excel skills Strong communication skills Natural ability to influence and drive change Accurate and diligent Motivated and self-starting What you can expect from us 25 days’ annual leave (increasing with length of service) plus bank holidays Annual salary reviews, based on individual performance Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay Generous staff discount on F&B products Access to our retail discounts platform Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 support Health Cash Plan Company Sick Pay Group Pension Scheme, matched by F&B Life Assurance Refer a Friend scheme Cycle to Work scheme Season Ticket Loans for travel At Farrow & Ball we are committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our people, with an aim to be truly representative of all sections of society and our customers.
