Executive Assistant / Senior Administrator
About the Role
Our client is seeking an energetic and experienced Executive Assistant who will work with and support the exisiting PA to the Senior Leadership team within an educational establishment. The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience as a PA, Executive Assistant or high-level Administrator and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude. Diary management, minute taking and excellent, accurate typing skills are all essential
Some Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
* Provide executive, administrative and developmental support to the SLT, including the Principal
* Manage the Principal's office, including diary and email management, meeting arrangements, travel bookings and full administrative support
* Support other SLT members, encouraging use of technology and systems to facilitate their administrative independence
* Serve as a point of contact for internal and external enquiries relating to the Principal
* Handle sensitive and complex issues professionally and objectively
* Support the delivery of administrative tasks across the College, particularly those pertaining to compliance and health and safety
* Assist in organising important College events such as Celebration Day and student recruitment events
* Ensure student information on SIMS is accurate and up-to-date
* Assist with student timetabling
* Support in providing documentation and information to outside agencies such as Ofsted and Local Authorities
Skills and Experience Required
* Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
* Can work on own initiative, completing tasks to tight deadlines
* Resilient, flexible and able to manage a large workload and multiple complex tasks
* Ability to respond to changing priorities with proven ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail
* Skilled in minuting meetings to a high standard
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and in-house systems
* Typing ability to an accurate high standard (ideally 90+ WPM)
* Ability to communicate at all levels with governors, leaders, staff, students, parents and visitors
* Diligence and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Strong team player
* Proactive approach
Position Details
* Salary: £30,559 - £32,654 (All year round)
* Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time + 10 days in College holidays
* Pro rata Salary: £26,256 - £29,308 per year (for term time + 10 days)
