Location: Nottingham\n\nSalary: £30,000, depending on experience\n\nHours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm\n\nFree onsite parking\n\n6 months fixed term contract\n\nImmediate Start\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experience Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team, within the education sector based in Nottingham initially 6 months fixed term contract with the potential becoming a permanent position.\n\nAs the Sales Ledger Clerk you will be supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.\n\nMain duties of the Sales Ledger Clerk will be:\n\n * Working closely with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller\n\n * Managing the Sales Ledger\n\n * Raising sales invoices\n\n * Processing sales invoices\n\n * Chasing outstanding payments\n\n * Taking debit/ credit payments\n\n * Managing petty cash and expenses\n\n * Raising and preparing weekly and monthly reports\n\n * Dealing with queries\n\n * Ad hoc duties relating to accounts/ finance\n\nIdeal candidate should have:\n\n * Experience of Sales Ledger\n\n * Experience of working in within the Education sector would be an advantage\n\n * AAT or equivalent would be an advantage\n\n * Excellent communication skills verbal and written\n\n * Able to work to strict deadlines\n\n * Hold current DBS would be desirable\n\nIn return you will receive:\n\n * Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week 1 hour lunch break\n\n * Free onsite parking\n\n * Access to fitness and health facilities\n\n * Complimentary refreshments\n\n * Pension scheme\n\n * Discounted travel\n\nPlease note that due to the sector, DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks will be applied
