The School of Public Services & Foundation Learning at Runshaw College is a large and successful department, which achieves excellent results and accommodates over 650 students from Foundation Level through to Level 3 courses, including Access to Higher Education Provision for Adult learners.
We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and talented Public Services teacher to join our friendly, supportive and successful team for a period of maternity cover. You will be dedicated to innovation, sharing best practice, addressing areas for improvement and building on strengths, and committed to a culture of high expectations, successful outcomes and inspiring a love of learning. The team currently delivers Public Services at Levels 1, 2 and 3, and this post could potentially involve teaching at any of those levels. Whilst initially a fixed term contract to July 2024, there may be the opportunity for a more permanent post going forward.
This post is fixed term until July 2025.
