The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainer Assessor in Engineering within our Apprenticeship provision.
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivery on Apprenticeship Standards with successful EPA results.
We are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas:
* Engineering Fitter (Electrical)
* Engineering Technician (Mechatronics)

The successful candidate will be primarily based at our Accrington site but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing
* Deliver all elements of the assessed standards including: training, mentoring, learner reviews, timely feedback and assessment
* Deal with apprenticeship recruitment and enrolments
* Be involved in apprentice, College and company inductions
* Take a “hands-on” approach with apprentices, coaching and demonstrating best practice in line with the new Standards
* Conduct initial assessment of apprenticeship needs
* Carrying out monthly active learning and 12 weekly progress reviews with apprentices and employers.
What We Are Looking For:
* 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
* A1 qualification
* Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards)
* Current industrial experience/ up to date industry CPD
* Experience of delivery and assessment of qualifications in this area
* IQA qualification (or willingness to work towards)
