Our client is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join the team and oversee the creation and development of the activation strategy across the On and Off Trade, working with the UKs and Europes leading retailers and global brands. This is a central role in the team and you will be given the tools to develop and thrive. You are creative in spirit, but critical and precise in execution This is a multi-discipline role, and so you need to have a good understanding of both the On and Off Trade as well as a passion for all things confectionary. Hybrid, 2-3 days per week at Birmingham office, near B10 area (12 minutes from Birmingham City Centre) Your new Trade Marketing Manager role You will be the brand guardian and responsible for developing the through-the-line strategy for the known brand portfolio and delivering it across On and Off Trade. Create and develop trade activation materials and ensure trade channels have all assets they require incl. social and digital tools. Create compelling sales presentations to aid selling arguments for customers Attend all key On & Off Trade customer meetings with a view to being the marketing expert in these meetings Work closely with wider teams to plan and execute the brand experiential and trade events calendar Be Key Liaison with brand and licence owners, their marketing team and Trade representatives A confident copywriter, you will be the point of contact for chocolate industry PR, delivering key messages and timely comms and developing relationships with key trade media Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of trade marketing activities, drawing on information from sales, finance, operations and other data analytics. What you will need to succeed in this Trade Marketing Manager role Educated to degree level in Marketing, Digital Marketing (or relevant qualification with the CIM/IDM or similar) with 3 year in role, or industry experience of 5 yrs. plus in similar roles You have prior experience in a similar role, working in both on and off trade marketing with demonstratable results You have experience building effective multi-channel campaigns, in UK and European markets.
