Job Description
Abcam's Product Data Integration (PDI) team plays a key role in enhancing our customer experience & increasing revenue opportunities. We achieve this with our expert team of scientists and data experts who utilize their skill sets to provide our customers the most comprehensive, accurate & up-to-date Product Information on our Digital platforms.
As we continue to expand our product offering and enhance our Digital systems, we are looking for a Scientific Product Data Associate to increase our resource capacity during a fixed period.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Produce & maintain associated kit protocol booklets in line with guidelines and input from wider teams.
* Carry out data updates in a timely manner with high attention to detail.
* Conduct data quality checks, including screening potential new data images.
Qualifications:
You will have a degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, with experience in Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry, and/or Flow Cytometry. You are able to follow defined processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiencies.
You will have strong Excel skills & experience working with large datasets. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills to resolve internal & external product data queries in a timely manner. You can proactively communicate with stakeholders on the progress of tasks or on blockers to ensure resolution is reached quickly.
You are able to prioritize and process large amounts of data in a logical and efficient manner, ensuring our customers receive accurate, up-to-date product information quickly.
