About the Role
We are looking for a detail-orientated and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations, with hands-on experience using Xero.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing invoices, payments, and expenses
2. Bank and supplier reconciliations
3. Assisting with VAT returns and payroll
4. Preparing financial reports and supporting month-end processes
5. General administrative and finance-related tasks
What We’re Looking For:
1. AAT or ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
2. Experience using Xero is essential
3. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills
