Experience in training and mentoring team members in data management practices is also essential.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, you will develop, consolidate, and optimise the EDW infrastructure for both internal and external stakeholders. You will design and implement robust ETL procedures and processes to ensure high data quality and functionality. Your responsibilities will include architecting analytics platforms and dashboards tailored to meet user needs, performing database performance analysis, monitoring, and tuning. You will design data marts, metadata, and models while ensuring proper version control of the EDW architecture codes. Enhancing our business intelligence capabilities to improve service delivery will be a key focus of your work. Collaboration with system managers to align database structures with EDW requirements is essential. Additionally, you will create, maintain, and update detailed documentation, test plans, and scripts, troubleshoot EDWs, and provide proactive solutions for BI tools, reports, and database structures. You will also assist with upgrades to regional data warehouse systems and deliver technical training to our team members. Ensuring compliance with data governance and ICT security policies while effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences will be part of your daily activities.
