You will undertake and manage the end-to-end completion of pre-employment and existing colleague vetting checks, ensuring our business integrity and regulatory obligations are satisfied.
As a HR Coordinator, we are looking for someone to:
1. Provide support and advice to all colleagues and managers, face to face, by phone and by email.
2. Manage new starters, colleague contractual changes, and leaver processes, including regulatory considerations and associated correspondence.
3. Conduct and manage background checks for colleagues using Experian, investigating and resolving matters to a high standard and in a timely manner, mitigating the company from potential risk.
4. Maintain, update, and supervise system-held information (including accurate filing of documents), and GDPR considerations.
5. Organise and coordinate Occupational Health appointments, DSE's, and Access to Work, including submitting referrals, liaising with OH provider, and ensuring appropriate action points are followed up.
6. Prepare and report data, providing analysis where necessary.
7. Take minutes for formal investigation, disciplinary, and grievance meetings, and ad-hoc meetings as required.
Qualifications
Essential
1. Experience of working in a HR role.
2. Experience of using a HRIS and strong Excel skills.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced and commercial environment.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to work collaboratively.
6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
7. A sound understanding of General Data Protection Regulations.
8. High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Desirable
1. CIPD qualification.
