Position: SEN TA/Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Pay: £85-£95 per day

Bookmark are currently recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across the mainstream and SEN schools that we work with in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas. Previous experience working within Schools is essential due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities:
• Provide pastoral and academic support to pupils.
• Assist the class teacher with lessons, handing out materials and monitoring behaviour.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN/Special Educational Needs e.g. ASD/Autism
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a TA/Teaching Assistant or LSA/Learning Support Assistant within a school or similar relevant experience working with children.
• Kind and caring persona, willing to be hands on and proactive.
• Either have a DBS check already or be willing to submit a DBS application.
