The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and working with key strategic customers and accounts for our client’s ophthalmology portfolio and will play a pivotal role in achieving its strategic and commercial intent.

Role Overview:
* Build national account plan utilising environmental data, market and customer insights to create a bespoke plan that is aligned to the brand strategy.
* Ensure product information is presented via the appropriate data and work with medical colleagues to identify opportunities for capturing RWE.
* Organise and implement product training and familiarisation programmes with key customers and centres.
* Fully map and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s), developing key customers as advocates of ophthalmology portfolio.
* Leverage the capability across the organisation to co-ordinate resources to meet the goals of the account plan and to build long term customer relationships as well as meet short term business goals.
To be successful:
* Qualified Optometrist / Degree or equivalent qualifications
* Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the NHS, Private Healthcare and all associated systems, networks and priorities
* Interpersonal skills with ability to participate in cross functional teams in leading with and without authority, negotiating and managing through influence
* Strong project management skills
* Demonstrate business planning capability and can formulate and present business proposals
