The hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and on track to be one of the best food & beverage, accommodation & event venues in NSW.
About the Role:
We’re on the search for a people-focused, passionate hospitality professional to lead our buffet breakfast & lunch operations at Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will support the Food & Beverage Manager, with a strong focus on presence during breakfast and lunch operations, leading and inspiring the team and providing an exceptional product and experience for our guests. This will be a full-time, 5 days per week position with the shift being 6:30 AM- 2:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and supervising staff members, including training, rostering, and providing direction to maintain high standards of customer service.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food & beverage policies and procedures.
* Interacting with customers to guarantee satisfaction and handle any concerns or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
* Responsible for stocktakes and ordering of food/beverage for the restaurant.
* Collaborating with the management team to develop and maintain a positive working environment.
About You:
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations including cashiering experience.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations.
* RSA required.
