A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Low Carbon Consultant / Energy Assessor to join a growing consultancy in our client's Nottingham or Leeds office.

The Role: As a Low Carbon Consultant / Energy Assessor, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Building Services Designers, Revit Technicians, Building Physicists, and Document Controllers. You will contribute to a diverse range of projects across various market sectors, providing expertise in energy compliance, sustainability, building physics, and carbon calculations. The role spans all RIBA stages (0-6), from feasibility to final construction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the design team in meeting sustainability, energy, and low-carbon targets
* Use IES software to create dynamic simulation models for building performance analysis
* Prepare Energy Compliance (BRUKL), CIBSE TM52, and TM54 reports
* Conduct assessments for heat loss/gain, daylighting, and ventilation
* Collaborate with Low Carbon Consultants and Design Engineers on projects
* Manage your own workload and lead individual projects
* Provide guidance on BREEAM, Energy, and Low Carbon design solutions
