We’re on the lookout for a driven and dynamic Business Development Coordinator to spearhead our growth across key healthcare sectors — including the NHS, Social Care, and private providers.
This role is all about the early sales journey: identifying opportunities, engaging new prospects, and building strong foundations for long-term client relationships. You'll be the crucial first touchpoint, warming up qualified leads and setting the stage for impactful follow-ups by our Sales, Clinical, and Product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth
*
Research and identify potential clients within NHS, Social Care, and private healthcare — targeting key decision-makers such as OTs, Physios, and Procurement Managers.
*
Execute high-volume outbound campaigns to generate and qualify leads, paving the way for senior team engagement.
*
Tailor outreach with compelling messaging aligned to each prospect’s unique challenges and needs.
Pipeline Handoff & Coordination
*
Seamlessly transition warmed leads to the Sales & Marketing Director, Clinical Lead, or Specialist Seating Assessor, depending on the next step.
*
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality lead journey.
*
Track all interactions via CRM (e.g., HubSpot) and ensure timely, proactive follow-ups.
Relationship Building
*
Build rapport from the first contact — establishing trust, identifying needs, and laying the groundwork for deeper conversations.
*
Act as a key ambassador for our brand, creating a strong first impression with every interaction.
*
Work hand-in-hand with Marketing to align outreach with campaigns and utilise targeted content to drive engagement.
Reporting & Performance Optimisation
*
Keep your pipeline organised and up to date in the CRM, documenting every lead journey and next step.
*
Deliver regular reports on lead performance, conversion trends, and opportunities for improvement.
*
Use data insights to continuously refine your outreach and handoff process for maximum impact.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
*
Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in healthcare.
*
Understanding of NHS and Social Care structures — knowing how to navigate them is a big plus.
*
Confident, engaging communicator with excellent phone skills and a natural talent for relationship-building.
*
Strong closer with a track record of exceeding targets.
*
Tech-savvy — especially with CRM platforms (like HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.
*
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and with cross-functional teams.
*
Commercially sharp with a relentless approach to lead engagement and conversion.
Temporary contract potentially leading to permanent.
