Maximising sales and profit, you'll be managing key wholesale and ecommerce customers and providing support to overall key accounts. Working as part of a close-knit sales team, you will be responsible for delivering against individual commercial objectives whilst contributing to business goals and team culture. This is a challenging but rewarding role that will give excellent experience in off-trade and grocery sales, FMCG, and wine.
Freixenet Copestick are a major player in the UK’s drinks market and the leading supplier of Sparkling wine. The company boasts an extensive portfolio across Still Wine, Sparkling Wine, Beer and Spirits and has proven success in NPD launches.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve individual sales and profit targets; forecasting performance and setting financial targets for area of responsibility.
* Build strong relationships with a broad range of customer stakeholders to increase customer engagement and deliver opportunities.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to proactively develop customers’ business, through new opportunities, marketing activations, and excellent availability.
* Act as master user on customer sales reporting and other platforms.
* Analyse sales and category data to build plans and proposals, in collaboration with the category team.
* Collaborate with SNAM to deliver a group-wide approach.
* Project manage delivery of key customer projects and events.
Person Specification
* Experience of sales and/or buying.
* Commercially astute and entrepreneurial.
* Strong influencing skills with the ability to adapt style to others.
* Numerate, confident with basic financial analysis and analysing sales data.
* Confident using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Energised by a fast-paced working environment.
* Collaborative, with a clear and open communication style.
* Methodical and organised approach with the ability to plan workload.
* Commitment to our company values and motivated by team achievement.
* Interest in wine and/or grocery sector.

Working Hours
* 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
* Home-based role with travel to customer site and head office in Newbury.
