The Role
We're looking for a Senior Strategic Procurement & Product Estimator to bridge the gap between product development, procurement, and manufacturing. In this high-impact role, you'll shape product design choices, drive cost efficiencies, and optimise the supply chain from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product & Production Planning: Partner with engineering to select materials, optimise designs, and align procurement with product roadmaps. Monitor industry trends and assess supplier capacity.
2. Procurement & Buying: Source suppliers based on quality and performance, manage relationships, and secure custom components while ensuring scalability and JIT efficiency.
3. Cost Estimating & Optimisation: Generate cost estimates early, analyse material and production costs, and drive value engineering to maximise cost savings across the product lifecycle.

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in procurement, product costing, and strategic planning. About you:
1. Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 5+ years in procurement, cost estimation, planning, or product development.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
4. Proven ability to influence design decisions and optimise costs.
5. Proficiency in ERP systems, cost estimating tools, and Excel.
6. Leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
7. Experience in the electronic industry and a certification in supply chain management is desirable.
