Compliance Project Officer Homebased with travel to the offices in Newcastle under LymeFixed term until end of August 2026£36065 per annum (inclusive of the 2025 pay award)37 hours per week About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and skilled Compliance Project Officer to join our Home Transformation project team on a fixed-term contract until August 2026. This role will focus on enhancing the in-house repairs service, ensuring that all proposed changes are compliant, efficient, and well-documented. As a Compliance Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the project team and the compliance team, making sure that compliance requirements are met and processes run smoothly throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Act as a conduit between the transformation project group and the compliance team, fostering collaboration and understanding.• Identify and implement simpler, slicker, and smarter solutions to improve processes and ensure compliance.• Serve as the subject matter expert for all proposed changes, providing guidance on legislative requirements and best practices.• Ensure all process changes are accurately mapped, documented, and compliant with relevant legislation.• Liaise with various stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any compliance-related concerns.• Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of project proposals to ensure alignment with regulatory standards. Qualifications and Skills: • Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within a transformation project or similar environment.• Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements related to our industry.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between teams.• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.• Proficient in process mapping and documentation.
