An arms-length body of government, responsible for growing and developing grassroots sport and getting more people active across England, are looking for an In-House Commercial Contracts Lawyer.
As the In-House Lawyer, you will join the Legal Services team to support on providing comprehensive professional legal advice on a whole spectrum of legal issues. Day to day you will be responding to requests from the organisation including drafting grant award and/or funding agreements, supply agreements as well as advising on company, charity, intellectual property and property law, company administration, FOI applications and GDPR.
To be considered, you should be a qualified solicitor or barrister (UK or equivalent jurisdiction) with at least 3 years PQE. Previous practical legal post qualification experience including but not limited to administrative, commercial, property law and/or experience of negotiating and drafting contracts is preferred. Experience of working within a public body is desirable as is experience of public procurement and/or intellectual property.
This role offers a salary of £61,200 and a range of benefits including generous holiday allowance, pension scheme and a range of health and lifestyle benefits. This role offers high levels of flexible and remote working with office space available in London. Please note you may be required to travel to the London office for meetings when necessary.
