Job Title: Salesforce Developer/Lead Developer - London 2/3 Days Onsite

My Client a government body is looking for both a Salesforce Developer and a Lead Developer. You will be aligned to a scrum team supporting multiple concurrent projects from solution design, build, implementation and post-implementation. The person should make sure that all Salesforce developments follow the development standards and industry-wide Salesforce best practices. The person should continue to think of improving not only the products but also the development activities required to build the products.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Salesforce architecture
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Salesforce Classic
- Lightning Web Components/Aura
- Great documentation skills that can be understood by technical and non-technical audience
- Presentation skills
- Can work well with testers and other members of the scrum team including members outside the scrum team
- Knows DevOps process
- Implements changes taking into consideration good design/secure design
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Support the deployments through the use of the DevOps tooling (code respository, Jenkins, etc)
- Test execution and Code coverage validation
- Monitor code quality during the code reviews to ensure it meets the FCA standards
- Maintain a Kanban board to document, organise and schedule code reviews
- Review apex test classes to align to standards and contain methods with valid business scenarios
- Ensure team develops items to the DOD - (include things like solution design, documented peer review)
- Not accepting items not reaching the DOR into sprint unless issues raised appropriately
- Accountable for ensuring data model changes are approved and recorded.
- Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Provide votes during an estimation session and challenge estimations
- Do not accept items not reaching the DOR into sprint unless issues raised appropriately
- Accountable for ensuring that the Sprint Backlog represents a true and complete record of work completed (complete, all work logged, impediments logged and quantified)
- Accountable for forming and managing a list of improvements or impediments from retrospectives.
- Success of the refinement before product backlog is accepted in the sprint
- Scrum Cermonies (Daily Standup, Refinement, Sprint and Retrospective) and focus on creating high-value increments that meet the DoD.
- Test Plan, Script
- Identify release readiness activities, creating detailed implementation plans, managing deployment rehearsals and ensure live implementations are controlled and managed appropriately to agree governance controls ie attending the Release Control Board
