M&G is committed to enhancing our digital channels to engage with our customers and advisers. We're hiring for a stand-out individual to manage our Social Media Channels and own the insights and data.
The Social Media & Analytics Manager will shape and drive forward our channel strategy across social channels to amplify M&G's commitment to financial well-being, whilst supporting our engagement and communications across our social channels.
We're looking for an individual to drive the development of our social media channels whilst optimising our analytics to enable us to create engagement, drive brand and deliver impact across the social channel mix.
Responsibilities
1. Manage our social media channels making assessments on both primary channel mix to support our audience engagement and utilising insights to make recommendations on channel optimisation.
2. Collaborate with our communications and marketing teams, alongside our operational and sales teams to develop and manage a communications framework that helps us get closer to our customers.
3. Manage and optimise paid social media campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions, whilst testing and refining ad targeting and messaging whilst monitoring and analysing campaign performance to maximise ROI.
4. Utilise social media analytics tools to track key metrics and measure campaign performance.
5. Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement whilst generating actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
6. Develop comprehensive reports on social media performance, audience demographics, and engagement metrics.
7. Collaborate and work with our Digital Analytics and Data teams on creating E2E engagement scores whilst identifying integration opportunities across our CRM.
8. Keep everyone safe - develop in conjunction with Brand, Risk, and Compliance clear control policies.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite Insights, Sprout Social) to track and measure campaign performance.
2. Experience with social media analytics tools to gain insights into audience behavior, content performance, and campaign effectiveness.
3. Experience with digital analytics tools (GA4, Adobe Analytics).
4. Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative ideas for social media campaigns.
5. Flexibility to adapt to changing trends and technologies in the social media landscape.
6. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges.
7. Effective time management skills to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and content creation.
9. Autonomous in managing your workload and taking decisions whilst ensuring you engage across teams with your communication.
