An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday HR and Finance systems for a leading wholesale, specialty & (re)insurance broker in the London Market. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong track record of Workday deployment, stakeholder engagement, and change management within the Insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Workday HR and Finance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Act as the primary liaison between C-suite executives, key business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and decision-making.
* Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
* Work with the business to identify process change requirments and opportunities to reduce product customisation capitalising on existing system functionalities.
* Drive business change and ensure successful adoption of the new Workday system across the organisation.
* Collaborate with third-party vendors, Workday consultants, and internal IT teams to ensure seamless integration.
* Provide robust governance and assurance, ensuring the project remains on track and within scope.
* Oversee data migration, user training, testing, and post-implementation support.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience managing Workday HR and Finance system implementations in a complex, regulated environment.
* Strong London Insurance Market background.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage C-level executives.
* Deep understanding of HR, Finance, and Payroll processes within a Workday framework.
* Strong grasp of project governance, risk management, and change control.
* Experience working with third-party vendors and Workday implementation partners.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive high-impact projects to successful completion.
* Workday certification (desirable but not essential).
