Senior Care Worker (Rapid Responder) -Driver
Location: Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon, and surrounding areas (mainly hospital-based in location nearest you with flexibility to cover nearby locations)
Salary: £28,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Hours: Full-time or Part-time
(74, 50, or 40-hour contracts over two weeks - shifts from 08:00 - 16:00 or 13:00 - 21:00, plus two overnight on-call shifts)

About the Role -Senior Care Worker (Rapid Responder) - Cambridgeshire
As a Senior Care Worker with us, you’ll be part of a unique service that provides vital support to unpaid carers. Your work will include:
* Giving unpaid carers the breaks they need by providing interim support to those they care for.
* Offering emergency response assistance to carers in crisis.
* Supporting hospital discharge services and helping prevent avoidable admissions.
* Working alongside our homecare team to assess needs, plan care, and deliver compassionate service.

What You Bring -Senior Care Worker (Rapid Responder) - Cambridgeshire
* Experience: Person-centered care, ideally in a domiciliary or homecare setting
* Skills: Excellent communication, strong IT abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
* Knowledge: Understanding of legislative care standards and the ability to work to high compliance
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential)
* Personal Attributes: Adaptability, solution-focused, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of carers and those they support
* Previously undertaken care plan assessments (or have the capability to learn)
* Must be able to drive and have own vehicle (Mileage costs covered)
