Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef/Manager in all aspects of running the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Head Chef/Manager in menu planning and food preparation
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Ensure efficient kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
Requirements
• NVQ 1/2/3 in a culinary discipline
• Strong knowledge of allergen management and HACCP processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment
