Primary Teacher (SEN Specialist)

Join an outstanding independent SEMH and ASD specialist boys' school that is expanding due to increased pupil numbers. We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Primary Teacher to challenge and support boys with Autism and/or Social and Emotional Mental Health Issues from Reception to Year 6.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Secure high standards of teaching and learning within the classroom.
* Provide a disciplined and stimulating learning environment where all pupils feel safe and can succeed.
* Be highly motivated and enthusiastic about working with pupils with Autism.
* Lead interventions and strategies for ASC/BESD pupils.
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a conducive learning environment.
* Monitor, assess, and record student progress, promoting a culture of high expectations.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of schemes of work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience in delivering the primary curriculum.
* Proven experience working with children with SEN, ideally with a focus on SEMH
* Ability to motivate, challenge, and inspire pupils to achieve and succeed.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the rural location of the school.
