Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced QA Advisor who will play a crucial role in aiding with all project documentation. They will lead and manage the certification process, including receipt, review, endorsement, and control, as well as the collation and compilation of MRBs (Manufacturing Records Books), MMPs (Material Movement Packs), and ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans). Additionally, they will support the development, management, maintenance, and enhancement of the Integrated Management System (IMS). The QA Advisor will also be responsible for ensuring HSE Legal and Regulatory compliance within the business unit, guaranteeing that the worksite adheres to all legal HSEQ requirements.
Main duties will include:
* Project Involvement: Attend and contribute to project meetings to ensure QA requirements are defined and understood.
* Quality Plan Development: Develop and implement the project quality plan, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
* Documentation and Certification: Collate and compile Certification Data Books/MRBs, review supplier documents, and endorse with approval codes.
* Quality Assurance and Improvement: Participate in quality inductions, identify improvement opportunities, and lead incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
* Audit and Compliance: Assist in executing the Audit Schedule, maintain IMS standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 45001), and manage non-conformance processes.
Experience/Skills required:
* Extensive Quality Professional Experience: Proven track record in projects and operations, including managing COSHH, maintaining Integrated Management Systems, and creating/reviewing MRBs, Data Books, and ITPs.
* Strong Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of quality standards (ISO 9000 Series, ISO 10005, BS EN 10204), NDE practices, welding, and pressure testing. ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification is essential.
* Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a systematic approach to work. Experience in continuous improvement and improvement projects is desirable.
* Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines, show initiative, propose solutions, and adapt to new challenges with enthusiasm and flexibility.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft applications, document control, and risk assessment creation and implementation. Formal Quality Assurance Qualification is desirable.
