We are a hardware retailer based in Ayrshire seeking an E-commerce Trainee to join our team and support our thriving e-commerce business, which offers high-quality hardware products to local and online customers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help enhance our online presence and drive our digital success.
Role Overview:
As an E-commerce Trainee, you will assist in various aspects of our online operations, gaining hands-on experience in e-commerce management and digital marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a school or college leaver looking to kick-start their career in the exciting field of e-commerce or digital marketing.
This is an onsite office-based role where you will work closely with team members in different departments. Remote workers need not apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management of our online stores and marketplaces, including product listings and inventory updates.
Learn and assist with social media marketing and online promotional activities.
Learn and apply basic SEO & AI techniques to improve website functionality.
Learn to help track and analyse sales performance and customer data.
Collaborate with team members to improve website functionality and user experience.
Qualifications:
Ideal for a school or college leaver with an interest in e-commerce and digital marketing.
Basic knowledge of online retail (such as eBay, Amazon, Etsy, etc.) is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Hours:
This is a permanent, part-time position offering 12-15 hours per week (Monday to Friday). We are open to negotiating specific days and hours to accommodate parental, caregiving, or educational commitments.
