Business Development Coordinator Responsibilities:
1. Follow up on all outstanding quotes, making detailed notes on the CRM for the benefit of the sale
2. Negotiate the best prices for the customer and business, always considering company margins to ensure maximum profitability
3. Request purchase orders to improve the conversion of quotes into sales
4. Identifying potential business opportunities through LinkedIn, website and word of mouth
5. Actively upsell and promote the company's products and their benefits
6. Utilise the CRM system to log potential and live projects
7. Feedback to the Sales Managers and Estimators to support the close of sales
Business Development Coordinator Skills and Experience:
1. Has a history of making high volume outbound calls and is confident closing sales and handling enquiries
2. Thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys identifying opportunities to increase business and revenue
3. Exposure to the construction industry would be beneficial but not essential
4. Boasts excellent clear communication skills and telephone manner, able to liaise at all levels, with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
5. Results-driven, always looking for opportunities, ways to improve performance, and happy to challenge new business methods
6. A natural problem-solver, able to handle and resolve issues as and when they arise
7. Possesses leadership skills, confident in training new employees
8. Strong computer skills, able to use MS Office confidently
9. Good organisation skills, able to prioritise workloads and able to respond rapidly
