Ashley Kate are pleased to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing client in Tamworth on an additional HR Generalist role to join an existing team. Reporting to the HR Manager, based on site in Tamworth, this is a full HR generalist position paying up to £35k dependent on experience.
You will need to build relationships across the business from the warehouse colleagues through to the SLT, and so you will need to be a confident communicator.
Working alongside the already incumbent HR Generalist, you will drive the recruitment strategy and so you must be comfortable with the end-to-end process, from writing job descriptions, conducting interviews, right through to the onboarding piece.
Support the HR Assistant in terms of reviewing training requests and then ensure that TNA are identified and met.
As the HR Advisor, you will provide day-to-day support to managers across all HR issues including absence management, performance, disciplinaries, and grievance. You will manage employee records and ensure information is up to date and also monitor and report on HR metrics. You will manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and resolutions on all areas, ensuring that UK employment law and best practice is kept.
HR Generalist - About you:
* You must have a proven background in a HR officer / HR Advisor role.
* Ideally, you will have worked with a blue and white collar workforce such as manufacturing, FMCG, construction, or retail.
* You must have strong UK employment law knowledge.
* A strong and personable communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* It is essential that you have hands-on experience with HR systems and are comfortable with analytics and reporting.
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is key in this role.
