Responsibilities:
* Researching and selecting suppliers for construction materials and equipment
* Comparing prices, terms and delivery options from different suppliers
* Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers
* Ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site
* Tracking inventory levels and ordering materials as needed
* Collaborating with project managers and construction teams to identify purchasing needs
* Analyzing market trends and making recommendations for improving purchasing processes
* Managing relationships with suppliers and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements:
* - Minimum of 3 years experience in construction procurement
* - Strong negotiation skills
* - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
